When and Where is this event being held?

This event is being held in our very own “backyard” – Fort Worth, Texas.  The event will begin on the afternoon of Thursday, October 3, 2024 and will continue through 5:00pm on Saturday, October 5th.  

We will be hosting the event at the Marriott Dallas/Fort Worth @ Champions Circle Hotel & Golf Club (3300 Championship Parkway; Fort Worth, TX 76177). 

Can I stay at this hotel?

You may make reservations at the event rate of $149.00/night, plus applicable taxes using this link.  The rate includes breakfast for up to 2 people per room (full hot breakfast buffet and chef-manned omelet station, as well as complimentary parking and wi-fi).

NOTE:  If you choose to book your hotel reservation at the Marriott DFW Champions Circle by other means than the event room block link (Marriott website, Travelocity, etc.), you may not have the same inclusions – complimentary breakfast, complimentary wi-fi, etc. 

If I want to fly to Texas for this event, what airport should I fly in to?

The Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex has two airports.

  • DFW International (DFW) – this airport is approximately 23 miles from the hotel.  Most major airlines (with the exception of Southwest Airlines) fly into/out of this airport.
  • Love Field (DAL) – this airport is in Dallas and is approximately 35 miles from the hotel.  Alaska Airlines, Delta, and Southwest Airlines fly into and out of this airport.
Is there a charge for parking at the hotel?

No, parking is complimentary at the hotel – whether you are a hotel guest, or just attending the crop.

What is included in the cost of the event?

The $449.00/per person event cost includes:

  • All Workshops/Session – including 10 Page Builder Guides, 10 Custom Design Printables – Also 4 complete Double Layout Kits and 2 Paper Crafting Kits
  • Fabulous SWAG Bag, Fun Extras, Prize Give Aways
  • lunch on Friday and Saturday
  • the optional Stretch/Yoga Class each morning and/or the guided walk each morning
  • Great Photo Opps and Connections to last a lifetime
What meals are included?

Breakfast is complimentary (for up to 2 people per room for hotel guests) at Creekside Restaurant each morning.  A lunch buffet will be provided for all attendees.  Dinner is on your own.  There is a restaurant at the resort or if you wish to get out, the resort is located within 2 miles of numerous restaurants.  (A full list of dining options will be provided in your event packet.)

Can I sit with my friends?

We understand how important it is for you to have space when you are crafting.  Therefore, the crafting area will be set up in “pods.”  Each pod will have three (3) 8’ long x 30” tables, where two (2) people will be seated at each 8’ table.  This will allow six (6) people to sit comfortably in each pod.  This set-up will encourage conversation while you are crafting!

What is the Community Service Event?

We feel that it would be a great opportunity to kick-off this event with a way to give back to our community.  Therefore, we will be teaming up with the organization,  Rise Against Hunger and packaging meals that will be provided to those less fortunate around the world.  Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies. Our meal packaging event will be a hands-on, high-energy volunteer service project! RISE will provide everything we need for this.

What is the VIP Reception?

As part of the $85 VIP upgrade, you will be invited to meet and mingle with other attendees, as well as Miss Tracy and her team, in a beautiful setting. There will be an opportunity for photos as well.

A light dinner and non-alcoholic beverages are included for the reception. A cash bar will be available should you want alcoholic beverages.

VIP’s will also receive a Special GIFT, Bonus Page Builder Guide, and Custom Design Printable along with fun photo opps.

Can I visit Miss Tracy Creates headquarters?

Those attendees who sign up for VIP Status will be invited to participate in a guided tour of Miss Tracy Creates on the morning of Sunday, October 6th.

What is the Stretch/Yoga Class?

Because we want this event to be a relaxing experience for you, we will offer an optional class on Friday and Saturday morning from 7:00am-7:45am where a trained instructor will lead you in breathing exercises and stretching – to get you ready for a day (and evening) of paper crafting!  Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat (or a large towel!)

What is the Guided Walk?

If the Stretch/Yoga Class is not your thing, we are also offering a guided walk through the beautiful grounds of the hotel.  The walk will be offered on Friday and Saturday morning from 7:00am-7:45am.

Are T-shirts available for this event?

We will have T-shirts available as an optional purchase. We will begin pre-orders for those as we get closer to the Event Date!

Is there anything else to do in the area?

There are many places to experience within a 5-mile range of the hotel including:

  • Tanger Outlet Mall
  • Buc-ees
  • Texas Motor Speedway
  • Golf Course
  • Big Shots
  • Cabelas, just to name a few.

Downtown Fort Worth is only about 20-miles from the hotel, and is a lovely city to visit – from the Stockyards, to the Botanical Gardens, Fort Worth Zoo, Sundance Square, etc. – there are so many places to experience!

What happens if I buy my ticket to attend the event and suddenly can’t attend?

Emergencies come up and life happens! While we can’t refund you the price of your ticket, we can convert your ticket into a virtual ticket that includes the kits, printables and Page Builder Guides. You will be able to view the virtual sessions through our Facebook Group. Dates for the virtual event are forthcoming.

Alternatively, you have the option to transfer your ticket to another attendee. Should you choose this option, please contact Leslie Ferry at leslie@misstracycreates.com to let us know who will be attending in your place.
